Essenwood

General Information

Essenwood is a green leafy, upmarket suburb of Durban in KwaZulu Natal.  Ideally situated out of the hustle and bustle of the city and yet close enough for the daily commute, Essenwood is a popular area to live.  Close to Kings Park and Kingsmead for sporting events as well as the new Workshop development.

Best known for its weekly Essenwood Craft Market, the area becomes an activity zone every Saturday where everything sells from local arts and crafts to some delicious food.
