General Information
Hillcrest used to be a small sleepy village a few years ago, however these days Hillcrest is a booming suburb of Durban filled with interesting shops, crafts, markets and restaurants. An incredible increase in inhabitants has forced the area to expand its amenities and infrastructure to cater for the amount of people moving here to escape the city centre.
Bordered by the famous Valley of 1000 Hills many tourists use Hillcrest as their base in exploring the surrounds. Within easy reach of Durban city centre, and the meandering hills of the area, Hillcrest is in the ideal location.
